The Pocono Record reports that two men are on the run after an attempted home invasion in Coolbaugh Township, Monroe County.  One resident of the home was injured by gunfire during the attempt.  His condition remains unknown at this time.

I extend my sympathy to the family victimized by this crime and hope that the injured young man recovers quickly and thoroughly.  In the meantime, police are going to be looking diligently for the people responsible for the attack.
